Pictures of my X1/9 entertainment system install

Right now i'm working on a speakers mounts to the back shelf.
Wood structure, fleece for the primary cover, and then fiberglass.
For the finish look I will try PU leather and of it won't succeed I'll do paint.
Don't worry about the wrinkles, the shape came out complicated because it's very small, it will flattened during the finish process.

Can't wait to see the finished product. I go back and forth deciding whether I want to beef up my sound system with rear speakers (I was thinking pioneer surface mounts) or whether I enjoy riding without the radio on at all and enjoy the sound of the engine.

After adding the rear speakers, it makes all the difference, because I can now actually listen at a lower, clearer volume level, while still enjoying the little 1300 whine....

Once finished, i'll post a separate thread about it.
When i bought the speakers, my aim was just the volume and not the fine tuning, as we all know our X's are very intense noise...boxes.
So i bought a very basic 5.25" 230W Pioneer speakers, mounted them on the Styrofoam the came in the package and started to drive around.
After using only 2 4.25" very old speakers mounted on the doors, the difference was significant so i started building the mounts right away.
