Clean up hone can be done with a 320 grit flex hone, stone hone or paper hone. Check the seals and assembly for possible problems before trying to hone the cylinder.
The bore and cylinder must be completely cleaned out before another assembly attempt. Any grit that remains will act as an abrasive within the entire brake system.
If you would like, it can be tested in the fixture to verify proper operation.
