Lower Engine Mount

'86 Bertone 1500 FI. Symptom: Right inner CV housing rubbing on the lower crossmember. Snail mount and lower mount replaced by prior owner, I just replaced the dogbone (PO had built an adjustable from two older dogbones). New dogbone has resulted in better shifting, but more CV rubbing. I've searched here and read about improving the stock mount by filling rubber voids. And the thread about taking a repro mount and rewelding.

Any insight here as to experience and solutions? Many thanks in advance.

The lower mount is likely at fault. There were a batch of them that were assembled upside down so they looked OK but lower the back of the transmission too much. Some took them apart and flipped the offending part and then pressed it back together.
