Help! I marked my main bearing caps before removing them. When I went to install the crankshaft today, I read the Fiat shop manual to mean that the cap with no notch goes closest to timing gear, meaning the fifth cap will have four notches, no? Mine were first with one ... Fifth with no notches. The car has only 26k, I had no reason to think it was opened up until this. Is the manual accurate and someone goofed? FYI car is 82 and was bought not running.
