I was looking at Chris' webstore for some parts I need and saw the left side air scoop - he has it new and used:

Unfortunately, that’s the outer scoop,
And what we need is the inner duct piece that connects to that outer scoop part.

I’ve almost resigned myself to repairing the one we have.
Maybe we could cut some pieces of plastic and glue them into place,
Make a couple of mounting tab sculptures.

Pretty sure it’s a motor-out job to replace,
And since our motor is nearing completion it’s going to be impeding progress.

The car was swiped on the left side at a point in its history and that’s likely how this happened.
Not something people need very often.

And to think an X is probably going to the scrapper with one of these parts intact right now!

I have the same inner scoop problem, both right and left. Duct is intact but various tabs are broken. Even with the engine removed they were tricky to get out and at least one tab broke during that exercise.

I'm with you - I think I'll try to repair the tabs, using the ones I have, to model some kind of glued-on, plastic replacement. Needs to be sturdy but a bit flexible to be re-attached.
