More engine bay preparations after it’s been washed of grease that could ignite a fire while cutting. A plasma cutter is used for clean and precise cuts.
Love the guide templates. Great thought process towards a consistent and successful solution.More engine bay preparations after it’s been washed of grease that could ignite a fire while cutting. Did you paint this or leave it as is? I really like the look of a well made panel in it's bare form...very nicely executed!Good work. I did a similar boot floor a few years ago but in aluminium, pop riveted in. Lighter and easier to work than SS.View attachment 80452
Unpainted, also did an engine cover in alloy, and door skins, but painted the later. Pity the boot floor was destroyed last year in a rear end crash, it's in a track car and I am still repairing it.Did you paint this or leave it as is? That scoop fed the DCOE carbs, also demolished in the crash last year. At least the engine cover survived.wait a second.......I just noticed the scoops in the 1/4s...I've not seen anything like this.....any other pictures of this modification??

Really have to appreciate the thought process for appropriate location of mounts and components. Good on yah Tony. Always impressive to see.Sleeve is fabricated for shifter cables and installed. Work begins on right side engine mount. View attachment 80811View attachment 80812View attachment 80813View attachment 80814View attachment 80815View attachment 80816View attachment 80817
